Dr. Paul Drago is an experienced and highly educated medical director, ATLS instructor, surgeon, and physician from Charleston, South Carolina. He graduated from The Ohio State University College of Medicine with a Doctor of Medicine degree in 1990 and has been practicing ever since.
Dr. Drago has served as a Medical Director for Wellpath since 2022 and as an ATLS Instructor since the same year. Prior to this, he was involved in independent research, analysis, and case review from 2016-2021. From 2015-2016, he worked as a ENT Surgeon at Easley Head & Neck Surgery SC and served as Medical Director for Barnwell Southern Palmetto Hospital from 2013-2015.
Dr. Drago worked as an Urgent Care Physician at multiple facilities and locations from 2011-2016, a Physician (Otolaryngology consultant) for SCDC, and the Owner of Genesis ENT & Plastic Surgery, PLLC. He has also had surgical experience as a Fellow for LSU Shreveport, a Resident at University Hospital of Cleveland ENT, and Visiting Resident Otology & Reconstructive Surgery at Queen Elizabeth Hospital
